Aluminium expo |The safety digital transformation of the melting and casting workshop of Foshan's inaugural aluminum processing (die casting) enterprise has passed audit successfully

On April 16th, with the collaborative efforts of the municipal and district emergency management departments, the safety digital transformation of the melting and casting workshop at Foshan's Sanshui Fenglu Aluminum Co., Ltd. passed expert panel review and acceptance. It became the first project in Foshan to complete a safety digital transformation of a melting and casting workshop according to the "Guangdong Province Industrial and Commercial Aluminum Processing (Deep Well Casting) Enterprise Safety Production Risk Monitoring and Early Warning System Data Access Standard (Trial)" and "Guidelines for Digital Transformation of Aluminum Processing (Deep Well Casting) Enterprises in Guangdong Province". This transformation will further enhance the intrinsic safety level of the company’s deep well casting process and effectively prevent risks of production safety accidents caused by issues such as personnel absenteeism and aluminum leakage during the aluminum rod melting and casting process.

According to Aluminium Expo, the safety digital transformation of the melting and casting workshop in aluminum processing (deep well casting) enterprises is a key initiative pushed forward by the municipal emergency management bureau under national and provincial directives, tailored to the risk characteristics of Foshan’s aluminum processing industry. By implementing digital transformations throughout all aluminum processing (deep well casting) enterprises in the city, the initiative aims to comprehensively reduce explosion risks during the casting process and enhance the overall safety production level of Foshan.

According to the guidelines, after completing the safety digital transformation, aluminum processing (deep well casting) enterprises will have functions such as safety production monitoring, aluminum leakage detection and management, safety interlocking remote control, safety production confirmation card management, and hazard monitoring and early warning management. These capabilities enable remote control of production parameters in the melting and casting workshop, intelligent identification of aluminum leaks, real-time management of personnel absenteeism, and confirmation of safety conditions before operations. They also facilitate visualization, statistical analysis, and intelligent closed-loop management of hazard sources, risk hidden dangers, and alarm distributions. Consequently, potential risks can be identified and alerted promptly, with automatic interlocking for handling, allowing rapid and timely risk mitigation.
