Aluminium show | Seven departments jointly issued a document to accelerate the promotion of aluminium foil packaging products for food
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration of Grain and Reserves and other seven departments jointly issued the "non-ferrous metal industry stable growth work programme". The Work Programme proposes that the non-ferrous metals industry come in many varieties, involves a wide range of applications and outstanding strategic value. It is an important support for the development of strategic emerging industries and national defense science and technology industry, as well as an important area for maintaining national resource security and industrial security. In order to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the Central Economic Work Conference, to put stable growth in the first place, to promote the effective improvement of the quality of the non-ferrous metal industry and the reasonable growth of the quantity and to achieve the expected goals of the development, this programme is formulated. The implementation period is 2023-2024.
Aluminium show was informed that it is the first time that the expression "accelerate the promotion of aluminium foil packaging products for foodstuffs" appears in the national ministries and commissions level document. The fact that seven ministries and commissions have issued a document together highlights the government's determination, recognition and support for aluminium packaging, especially aluminium foil packaging products for food, which have been listed as a key product for expanding the consumption of non-ferrous metals and guiding the upgrading of product consumption.

Aluminium companies and related industry chain companies, mainly in aluminium packaging materials, are making efforts to continuously improve the level of responsible production, responsible sourcing and corporate governance, and to enhance their responsibility and the sustainability of aluminium and aluminium packaging materials.
