Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Wheel breaks ground on its aluminium alloy automotive calliper project

Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Wheel (ZCW), the China-based company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and distributing of aluminium alloy wheels for automobiles and motorcycles, completed the piling construction of its much-awaited automobile calliper project on December 8. The project is expected to produce 500,000 sets of aluminium alloy fixed callipers.

The ambitious fundraising initiative is projected to span two years, necessitating a total investment of 165 million yuan. The project entails an expansion of 106 mu and boasts a substantial total construction area exceeding 65,000 square meters. Specifically, the Phase I No.2 workshop will cover 30,408 square meters, while the Phase II No.1 workshop will occupy 33,366 square meters.

Aligned with a strategic vision, the company is committed to incorporating intelligent manufacturing technology and acquiring cutting-edge casting equipment, encompassing aluminium alloy melting, core-making, environmental protection, and automation tools. Furthermore, investments will be directed towards finishing equipment, including a fixed clamp assembly line, a three-coordinate machine centre, and fixtures and cutters.

Upon the successful completion and activation of the new facility, it will finalize the environmental integration of the entire production line and expand materials and storage capacity. Ultimately, this expansion is poised to significantly augment the company's cumulative production capacity of aluminium alloy fixed callipers, reaching an impressive 1 million sets.
