The UK-based Conexus Resources Group has officially opened a state-of-the-art aluminum rod factory in Bahrain, with an investment of 100 million USD. The newly established Konexus Aluminium will play a key role in processing liquid aluminum from Bahrain's national manufacturer, Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), and transforming it into high-quality aluminum rods. These rods are designed to cater to regional and international clients, consolidating Bahrain's position as a major manufacturing and export hub for the global market.

Dr. Khaled Fahad Alalawi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Development at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, stated, "This inauguration ceremony marks another milestone achievement, demonstrating Bahrain's thriving manufacturing sector, as Bahrain continues to offer an ideal gateway for businesses to enter the Middle East and other markets."

According to data from aluminium show, this cutting-edge factory, with an annual production capacity of 32,000 tons, signifies a significant enhancement in Bahrain's industrial landscape. Conexus Resources Group operates in 15 countries worldwide, including renowned regions such as Switzerland and Singapore, aiming to leverage its extensive expertise in advanced processing and logistics capabilities to efficiently manage the global value chain.
